Welcome from Superintendent
Dear Pine Strawberry Friends and Families,
As the 2022-2023 school year begins, we look forward to providing a wholesome education to the children of our community. Our staff works hard to ensure each student is successful academically and socially. We strive to provide well-rounded instructional programs while accelerating student learning and supporting well-being.
Our students' well-being is essential to supporting the whole child and ensuring success in school. PSESD places a high priority on our students' social and emotional health. Beginning this year, PSESD is excited to implement Capturing Kids Heart (CKH). CKH is a character-based curriculum focused on social-emotional well-being, relationship-driven campus culture, and student connectedness.
As the new school year begins, I want to share some updates with you. In January, we will have a new, updated website. Upon its completion, we will share this information with families. Additionally, our safety committee updated our emergency plan in September. The plan reflects best practices and procedures based on current research. Our students' safety is of utmost importance. We ask staff, students, families, and community members to respect all safety and security measures put in place.
Pine Strawberry School District believes communication is vital to the success of the school community. We provide monthly school newsletters and classroom newsletters to keep you informed. Additionally, we use text messages, phone calls, and emails to communicate with families. Please use our new website and follow us on our Facebook page for up-to-date information and announcements.
At Pine Strawberry School, our students come first. Students' academics, social-emotional learning, and safety are top priorities. We look forward to serving our students, families, and community. Thank you for your partnership and support.
