Welcome to my 2nd Grade classroom. I came to Pine Strawberry School with over 35 years of teaching experience. I have endorsements in ESL (English as a Second Language), Early Childhood Education (K-3), and Technology (K-12). I have previously taught 3rd, 5th, and 6th grades self-contained, all subjects, for several years at each. I also taught Title I math in Winslow grades 3-8. My emphasis at NAU was math while my degree is in Education. I received my B.S in Education from NAU and my M.S in Ed. (counseling) from ASU. I live here in Pine and I enjoy working with your children. I'm excited to teach 2nd grade this year!

Homework Expectations/Procedures
Students should spend a minimum of 20 min. each evening reading in a book they can AR test in.  In addition, they should read their leveled reader to an adult, each evening to develop fluency. The only other homework your child will have is unfinished classwork or makeup work following an absence (this may include IXL assignments).  Any other special assignment will be communicated through the remind app
