STUCO Activities for FY2023/2024

Builders Club
Mrs. Stacy Flanagan, Advisor
Builders Club is a group for kids who are interested in helping others. We work together to plan projects to help our school, community, and world. Some of the club’s traditional projects include: canned food drive, making Valentines/Christmas cards for senior citizens, filling shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child, making welcome baskets for new students, participating in the Payson Rodeo Parade, reading to preschoolers and trash pick-up. While working through these projects, club members learn essential leadership skills that will help them throughout their lives.

Art Club
Mrs. Amy Abney, Advisor
Pine Strawberry School is excited to offer an after-school art club for Middle School Students. While regular art class focuses on teaching skills and exploring different art mediums, Art Club allows students to unwind from the day and create the art they love. Students are encouraged to bring ideas to class where they can get the help they need to create their masterpiece.

8Th Grade Club
Mrs. Candace Paine, Advisor
Eighth Grade is a special year at Pine Strawberry School. There are privileges and responsibilities that come along with it. The Eighth Graders meet Wednesday mornings from 7:30-8:00am to discuss class activities and fundraisers. We have class officers that run the meetings and lead the activities. They will be taking several campus tours throughout the school year. They will have one big end of the year trip to SeaWorld in May. The fundraisers go on throughout the year to help with the cost of the end of the year trip. The class will celebrate the culmination of their elementary education at the Promotion Ceremony in May. Parents are encouraged to participate with the planning and set up of promotion. We need parent volunteers all year to help with the various fundraisers. The biggest event is the Fall Festival. We need candy and prizes for that event, and we accept donations of candy and soda for the snack bar all year.  Please email Mrs. Paine if you would like to help or if you have any questions.
